Josh Williams is the Director of Scouting and Football Operations for the San Francisco 49ers, marking his 14th season with the organization. He oversees pro and college scouting, player development, and contract negotiations, keeping the team at the forefront of talent identification.

Williams joined the 49ers front office in 2011 and steadily rose through the organization, serving in various capacities throughout personnel operations. A Bay Area native, he graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory and Columbia University, where he played wide receiver while earning a psychology degree.

Selected for the NFL's Front Office & General Manager Accelerator Program in December 2024, Williams was later named a finalist for the Jacksonville Jaguars GM position in February 2025. His growing influence was further recognized when he appeared in the New York Times' "NFL 50 Under 40" list of emerging league difference-makers.

Williams' experience and dedication significantly impact both the 49ers and the broader sports industry. A connector and thought-leader, he remains a key contributor to the team's ongoing legacy and future success.

Jason Ludwig is in his ninth season with Santa Clara University men's basketball and is currently the associate head coach. He has played a key role in the program’s sustained success. Under his leadership, the Broncos have achieved 5 straight 20+ win seasons and earned 3 National Invitation Tournament (NIT) appearances in the last 4 years. Ludwig has been instrumental in the development of 15 all-conference players, as well as the mentorship of NBA first-round draft picks Jalen Williams and Brandin Podziemski.

Before joining Santa Clara, Ludwig gained extensive experience at the college levels. He served as the director of basketball operations at Mississippi State under Ben Howland and held the same role at Arizona State, contributing to the program’s NCAA Tournament berth in 2013-14. Earlier in his career, Ludwig spent a decade at UCLA, where he held multiple roles, including student manager, assistant video coordinator, and director of scouting and player development. During his time there, UCLA made back-to-back Final Four appearances and reached the national championship game in 2006.

Ludwig’s influence extends beyond the court. He co-founded the Coaches Social at the Final Four, a premier networking event that brings together basketball professionals from across the country. He also established the Latino Association of Basketball Coaches, a global initiative dedicated to supporting and educating Latino coaches at all levels of the game. Passionate about giving back, Ludwig launched the JL Hoops Camp in his hometown of Montebello, California, offering free basketball training for underprivileged youth for 15 years.

A UCLA graduate with a degree in economics, Ludwig was a standout athlete in high school, excelling in both basketball and baseball. His deep knowledge of the game, extensive experience in player development, and dedication to community and professional growth continue to shape the Santa Clara basketball program and the broader coaching landscape.
